About Us

The Liverpool Community Alcohol Service provides support, treatment and advice for people in varying stages of an alcohol dependency.

The service is available in hospital and community bases across the city and the wider suburbs of Liverpool.

Teams from Aintree University Hospital and Mersey Care NHS Trust work together to address the physical and emotional impact of alcohol addiction

As an NHS service, the Liverpool Community Alcohol Service is free to residents of Liverpool. Any adult (18 or over) living in the city either as a permanent resident or a student can access the service. Your GP can refer you or you can contact the service direct on the local number 0151 529 4504.

If you have concerns about a relative or friend who you suspect has a problem with alcohol you can also contact the service for free advice.
